Prim. Katarina Đurić Vuković, MD, is a specialist in Otorhinolaryngology (ENT) with a subspecialization in Head and Neck Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery, employed at the Clinic for Ear, Nose, and Throat Diseases and Head Surgery, University Hospital Center Zagreb. Since 2011, she holds the title of European ENT Specialist, Fellow of the European Board of ORL-HNS (FEBORL-HNS) and is an active member of this professional society.
Dr. Đurić Vuković has extensive clinical experience in diagnostics, outpatient care, and surgical treatment in general otorhinolaryngology, with a particular focus on rhinology and sinus surgery.
She specializes in the treatment of nasal and sinus diseases, both conservatively and surgically. For over a decade, she has been an independent and highly skilled surgeon, performing procedures such as adenotomies, tonsillectomies, septoplasty, endoscopic sinus surgery, nasal pyramid surgery (rhinoplasty), ear correction surgery (otoplasty), and removal of tumorous and non-tumorous skin lesions in the head and neck area. She has been a long-standing member of the transnasal endoscopic pituitary tumor surgery team, as well as the Severe Asthma Team and the Cystic Fibrosis Team at UHC Zagreb, which take a multidisciplinary approach to respiratory tract diseases.
She is the author of 18 scientific papers in otorhinolaryngology and rhinology, contributed 3 chapters to medical textbooks and clinical manuals, and published over 20 professional papers in proceedings of international and domestic congresses. She has been an invited speaker at numerous national and international conferences. Dr. Đurić Vuković is a member of the Croatian Rhinology Society, European Academy of ORL-HNS (EBORL-HNS), European Rhinologic Society (ERS), and the Croatian Skull Base Society.
