Prof.dr.sc. Sandra Anić-Milošević dr.med.dent.
Specialist in Orthodontics, Head of the Orthodontics Department
Prof. dr. sc. Sandra Anić Milošević was born on January 21, 1971, in Zagreb, Croatia. She completed elementary school and the Classical Gymnasium in Zagreb. She enrolled at the School of Dental Medicine, University of Zagreb in 1989/90 and graduated in 1994, passing her professional exam in 1996.
Since 1995, she has been employed at the Department of Orthodontics, School of Dental Medicine, University of Zagreb, where she earned her Master’s degree in 1998. She completed her specialization in orthodontics in 2000 and obtained her PhD in orthodontics in 2004.
In 2014, she was appointed Scientific Advisor and Associate Professor. She actively participates in teaching the orthodontics curriculum, leading clinical and preclinical exercises and seminars. She is the head of two courses at the postgraduate specialist and doctoral levels. Under her mentorship, 19 theses, 2 scientific master’s theses, and 1 professional work have been successfully defended.
She is the author and co-author of 50 scientific, review, and professional papers, 18 of which are cited in Current Contents. She has actively participated in numerous European congresses and courses.
She is a member of the Croatian Dental Chamber, the Croatian Orthodontic Society, the European Orthodontic Society, and the World Federation of Orthodontics. She also serves on the Council of the School of Dental Medicine and on committees for postgraduate and doctoral theses.
Prof. Anić Milošević is fluent in English, Italian, and French, with passive knowledge of German. She is married and a mother of two children.
