What is Invisalign?
Invisalign® is a modern alternative to traditional metal braces and, as such, represents a revolution in orthodontic therapy.
Unlike traditional braces that consist of metal wires and brackets, Invisalign® is made from a transparent, high-quality thermoplastic material that adapts to your teeth. Invisalign® aligners are custom-made precisely for you, ensuring maximum comfort and precise results.
What Is Invisalign Used For and How Does It Work?
Invisalign is particularly effective in treating mild to moderate dental issues such as crowded teeth, gaps between teeth, bite irregularities, and other minor orthodontic problems.
Advanced technology allows us to create a 3D virtual model to plan your treatment in detail. Specialized software shows how your teeth will move during the treatment and predicts the final result. Based on this plan, a specific number of custom aligners are produced and worn in sequence to gradually move the teeth into the desired position.
Each aligner is worn for approximately 1–2 weeks before switching to the next one, with regular check-ups by your orthodontist. While aligners are removable, it’s recommended to wear them for at least 20 hours per day to achieve the best results.
