Why do problems in the middle ear occur?
The Eustachian tube connects the middle ear with the nasal cavity and plays an important role in equalizing pressure and draining secretions. When it becomes blocked due to infections, allergies, colds, or anatomical irregularities, the following can occur:

How does Politzerization work?
During Politzerization, air is insufflated under controlled pressure through the nostril using a special device (Politzer balloon), while the patient swallows or pronounces certain words. This moment allows the Eustachian tube to open, enabling air to enter the middle ear and equalize pressure.
